Hostel Nim Sut is by far the best Hostel in Xela. I have enjoyed each time here so much that I continue to return. The staff are extremely hospitable, the beds are comfortable the view is incredible and the breakfast is delicious. I will be returning next weekend without a doubt. Stay Here.

I Have had the pleasure of staying at Nim Sut for a couple of wonderful days & nights. The terrace Vista is superb The atmosphere is relaxed the hosts are friendly and hospitable and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I had a private room with a great view and also enjoyed the dorms for a night which were just as comfortable. The showers are hot and being able to receive my delicious breakfast of huge pancakes or eggs, beans, plantains, toast, and of course cafe at any time was fantastic. The lunch specials were great and it was an ideal place for a student who wanted to have a quiet place to rest and study. Great place to stay in xela! So close to everything and still tranquil, I highly recommend it. Gracias!

I have had a wonderful time staying at Hostel Nim Sut! I have spent many days on the terrace overlooking the city. I have yet to find a better roof top view. Hot showers and a key to the dorm were very welcome suprizes. Also just one minute walk to the center who could beat that? I felt my space was always respected but also liked being able to talk the lovely family which runs the hostel. definitly would come back. (Great hot chocolate some of the best around)

Very Very nice place with an amazing view. The staff here is very kindly. Very nice and clean rooms and very good coffees. If you come here to study Spanish I can highly recommend Spanish School Juan Sisay. The hostel also have the nicest kitchen we have seen during our travel.

My husband and I stayed in this hostel for 2 months. It was great. They have an incredible view of the city, great food, clean rooms and good energy.
Before we found this hostel, my husband and I had looked at some others and this blows the other hostels away. You're not gonna be able to find another hostel like this one for the price you pay.
The atmosphere and vibe of the hostel is relaxing and positive and the rooms are super clean. Since we stayed there for 2 months, we were able to see how the hostel was run and how often they cleaned. They cleaned it every day and as soon as a person left or checked-out, the room was cleaned and the sheets were stripped and put in the washing machine.
They also have a cafe/restaurant built into the hostel. If you don't feel like going out or cooking, their food is great. However, if you want to save money, you can buy your own food and you're able to use the hostel's kitchen. The kitchen is really big and has all the appliances you could ask for. My husband and I cooked every day and the the use of the kitchen was included in the price of the room.
They also have hot water in the showers (which is important as Xela can get cold). We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. The majority of the rooms have shared bathrooms but they also have rooms with private bathrooms.
The hostel is family-run and the family lives at the hostel. We found this to be really convenient because we were able to ask them touristy questions about the city and about Guatemala in general. The husband is a native English speaker and the wife is a native Spanish speaker so if you speak either English or Spanish, communicating won't be a problem.
Overall, Nim Sut is a great place to stay. It's located 2 blocks from Central Park and the prices are really good and we were out and about in the city, we were able to come back to the hostel, relax on the balcony or in the courtyard and really feel like we were 'at home'
